Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce for Machinery Industry (SICCMI) is a professional, non-profit, international trade promotion organization made up of representative enterprises and organizations in Sichuan machinery (including Automobile) industry. It’s an important gate and platform for Sichuan machinery industry to carry out international trade and seek international cooperation.

The main tasks and responsibilities of SICCMI are as follows: providing information and services relating international economy and trade, technology and investment for its members; facilitating the exchange of information between members and between members and overseas institutions; hosting and undertaking international exhibitions and organizing members to participate in international exhibitions; organizing members to visit, exchange and study abroad; providing members with relevant laws, regulations and international conventions, international practices and other advisory services; safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the members and supervising members' self-discipline and promote fair trade; carrying out all kinds of personnel training and exchange for the members; inviting and receiving visitors from foreign and regional economic, trade and technical circles; carrying out liaison work with foreign and regional economic, trade and technical communities; developing friendly relations with governments, trade associations, economic and trade organizations and other organizations at home and abroad; timely reflecting to the government departments about the reasonable requirements of members and carrying out other work authorized or entrusted by the government and related departments and units.
